Two vacancies for qualified Electricians based in Caerphilly.

As part of an expansion of our M & E installation division, we are looking for 2 time-served electricians to lead teams.

The ideal candidates must be qualified Electricians with a proven background within the field of commercial and industrial electrical installation type work. They must hold a Joint Industry Board accreditation of a gold card with a status of Electrician or Approved Electrician.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

To carry out Electrical Installation work that complies to the current BS 2382-12 17th Edition and Electricity at work act of 1989.
To maintain a clear, professional and pro-active communication with our own internal Departments and Clients at all times.
To report to project managers, to deliver installation projects to a high standard and within time constraints
To deliver accurate Electrical Certificates.
To comply with safe isolation & health & safety at all times.
To give tool box talks to his team

Key Skills and Attributes:

* City & Guilds 2357 or Equivalent
* 2382 17th Edition
* Member of the Electro-technical Certification Scheme, graded as an Electrician/Approved Electrician
* 2394/2395 or equivalent in Testing & Inspecting Qualification
* Knowledge of Domestic and Industrial Electrical Installation
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Good self-management skills
* Efficient in order to obtain the best productivity
* Be adaptable to change
* Ability to maintain and hit a daily install rate
* Have a flexible approach to working hours

Job Specification:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business with end users and consultants across the Fire and Security sectors.
The Successful Candidate:
1.Must be innovative and dynamic. You will be an innovative and dynamic individual with systems sales experience, specifically within the fire detection market with experience in all aspects of CCTV, Intruder and Access Control
2 Have a proven track record in sales and cultivating high end business relationships
3 Possess excellent client facing skills across a diverse spectrum of clients
4 Have an understanding of the technical nature of the business, ideally across all sectors of the fire and security business.
5 Experience within supplier chain integration
6 Have the ability to focus on customer based innovative solutions
Candidate Experience:
You will be a dynamic self-starter with systems sales experience, specifically within the fire detection and Security Market. You will have a history of achieving targets across large and small contracts. Have a proven track record in closing new business sales from self generated leads and have previous experience of identifying new business within existing contacts.
General
You will ideally have experience in the Fire and security sectors, but we can offer training and support in these areas.
You will need to focus on customer retention and major accounts, as well as developing new business.
Travel Requirements:
This is a regional role with some national travel involved. Candidates should demonstrate a flexible attitude between a field and office base with a dedication to being responsible for managing their own diary.

Job Profile

Grange Industries Group Ltd is a multi disciplined engineering company, who specialises in the Downstream gas / petrochemical sector. Due to successful growth and strong long-term demand we have an opportunity for an electrical design engineer to join our team in Caerphilly.
The successful candidate will provide a technical lead in the electrical/ICA scoping and design of electrical and instrumentation systems. This will involve working in multidisciplinary teams of civil, mechanical, process and electrical/ICA engineers.

Job Description

Typical duties include:
– Preparation of, or supervision of preparation of, drawings for plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, instrumentation loop diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture drawings, and cable, instrument and I/O schedules
– Production of documentation, including user requirement specifications/control philosophies, tender documentation (including particular electrical and ICA specifications), schedules of prices and engineer’s estimates
– Liaison with and management of electrical subcontract partners (MCC suppliers, telemetry providers, electrical installation)

Candidate specification

– Downstream gas experience would be advantageous
– Able to undertake design work with little supervision,
– Excellent electrical engineering knowledge, able to advise other disciplines regarding aspects of design as it impacts electrical engineering issues
– Able to demonstrate a broad experience in LV distribution systems, motor control centres/control panels, electrical installation, PLCs control system networking, SCADA and telemetry systems, and DSEAR regulations
– Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to integrate into the existing multidisciplinary design team
– Demonstrable experience in managing teams to successfully deliver project objectives within time and budget
– Able to perform project and programme management duties and understand the commercial and financial consequences of actions
– Progressive and imaginative in your work, striving to add value where possible for the benefit of the company and our clients
– Active and enthusiastic participant in specialist discipline communities, driving consistency and improvement in specialist discipline for the benefit of the wider team and business
– Demonstrate continuing maintenance of professional development and knowledge of current and emerging technical solutions
– Fully computer literate
– Valid UK driving licence

6 month contract / Full time / Package – negotiable

Fire & Security Service Engineer

Fire & Security Service Engineer
Due to continued company growth and success, Grange Industries Group Ltd are looking for a Multi-Disciplined Fire and Security Engineer to join their team where they will be responsible for the service and commissioning of a wide variety of Fire and Security systems, being aware of customer needs and service requirements and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance to Company policies and procedures.
Additional installation duties may be required, if competent. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Service Engineer with knowledge of current standards and legislations (BS5839, 7671 etc) and be able to demonstrate recent relevant experience on Security Systems including Intruder, Access and CCTV. You will also have previous experience of the Fire Alarm Industry, hold a full UK driving licence, be self-motivated and have excellent attention to detail, time management and customer facing awareness. It would be advantageous if you have BFPSA, FIA or BS5839 Training, and previous experience in the fire alarm industry
